Your garment will be assessed and sorted. Based on condition it will be repaired, donated, upcycled, or shredded and given a new life with Upparel, our responsible textile recycling partner. We’ll make sure nothing ends up in landfill.

Fill out our Spell Salvage request form. Our team will review your request within 72 hours of receiving and once approved we’ll email you a free shipping label.
2. Return
Package up your clean Spell items and drop off at your local post office or postbox. (We recommend reusing some old packaging you already have lying around or choosing a recyclable or compostable option, if possible.)
3. Reward
Once received, our staff will assess your package and issue your gift card via email. $20 per item received.
4. Salvage
Leave the rest to us–We’ll assess and sort to make sure nothing ends up in landfill!

As little as 20% of clothing donations to charity shops have been found to make it to the racks for resale, with the fate of the remaining donations varying from being cut up for rags, shipped overseas (which has become a major environmental issue!), to being sent to landfill.
We are committed to looking at this from every angle, examining the full life cycle of our garments, implementing an extended producer responsibility (EPR) program, and taking responsibility for their end of life.
We've been making clothes for over a decade, have a thriving buy-swap-sell community (so we know you’d pass it on if you could!), but we know some garments can be loved to death, here’s where your piece can go to recycling heaven.
