We were so excited for the Milan leg of fashion week and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The line up included the Italian fashion house greats ~ Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, Prada and our favourite Etro!

The moment we read of Alessandro Michele’s vision for Gucci SS18 we were entranced. To set the mood for the show invitations came in the form of a tin box covered with occult symbols containing a miniature set of black candles, and a pack of matches printed mysteriously with ‘Hypnotism’. The collection was a beautifully chaotic mixture of prints, jewels, oversized draped dresses cloaked with windbreaker style jackets. Somehow there is a synergy that is stronger than each individual look. It left us feeling both shock and awe. Utter perfection.

Safe to say, Etro is always our most anticipated show, and they didn’t disappoint.  No detail is spared in these ever so intricately embellished white gowns, decorated with silver thread embroidered sash tie belts. The men, adorned in velvet five button beetles jackets over sherwani inspired shirts… And then, the prints came. Etro’s signature paisley that will never goes out of style.

We hope you’ve enjoyed feasting your eyes on some of the worlds most amazing fashion just as much as we have.
