Reminding us all why sometimes, just sometimes, it’s the best idea in the world to venture far away from home, to places you’ve never seen, seeking out new color palates, textures and experiences… in the hope that something within will awaken. I remember the first time I drove into Yosemite National Park, I cried, because I’d forgotten how beautiful the world was. And the first time I flew in to JFK over NYC, listening to an Imagine Heap song, the lights of the city reflected in the wing of the airplane, I cried again, for I had found a new vibration in NYC that I’d never experienced before.

We’ve been following Sarah & her husband Joshua’s wanderings vicariously, and have been secretly planning our own escape… so much so, that our would-be honeymoon in a week is to simply pack the kids and surfboards in the car and drive away from our home, in the hope of stumbling upon something new.

Sarah got her hands on our Sunset Road collection and took these photos (and a few sneaky polaroids!) on her latest adventure, I guess these are the places you find when you have the open road, an open heart and an open mind, (and a hell of a pimped Airstream named ‘Flo’ at your disposal) – we’re not jealous, just inspired.
